<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Brewer Joins Noah in Phoenix Workout

The East Valley Tribune reported that Joakim Noah will be working out on draft day (Tuesday) with the Phoenix Suns, a sure-fire sign that a trade involving either the #5 or #7 pick is imminent. DraftExpress learned that Phoenix will also host Corey Brewer on Tuesday, although the identity of the other prospects participating in the two workouts is still unknown.

To pull off a workout of this nature on draft day?one that will almost certainly be competitive considering the timing and what?s at stake?the Suns had to be able to give the players? agents a very strong indication that they are very serious about moving up to draft them. What makes things easier is the fact that virtually every player in this draft, as well their agent, believes that Phoenix would be the absolute best fit for their style of play. It?s amazing what having Steve Nash on your team and playing the most attractive style of basketball in the NBA will do for you. </div>

Looks like Marion is either a T'Wolve or Celt [IMG]

I really hope this happens and Noah/Brewer get drafted by the Suns.

The title of your thread is very misleading, and you're reading way too much into it. They gave the guy a workout, not a promise. They're exploring their options like every team should, but that doesn't mean they're planning on pulling the trigger on a deal to move up.

With that said, they would be the perfect fit for Noah. If there's one team I can see him being successful on, it's the Suns and their up-tempo offense.

It's just like Indiana requesting the physicals of the players in the late teens. That doesn't necessarily mean that they're going to be dealing with the Lakers. Every good team has to be prepared for every possible scenario coming into draft day, and here's a perfect example.

Hopefully its the wolves if this true. And i agree that if Noah is gonna be successful in this league the Suns are one of his best chances

Thanks for the news, but the source link you gave had an error.
This is the correct link. Also, your quote says they're working out on draft day. The article has since been corrected to say it is two days before the draft.

Actually, on a side note, this confused me too. For months I had Tuesday as draft day, and Monday I find that it's until Thursday. Was the date changed?

Another East Valley Tribune article says that the Suns are looking to move up to the 8th stop at best:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The chance of the Suns moving up among the top seven picks — including in a blockbuster-type deal with Minnesota involving Garnett at No. 7 — appears remote.</div>
