<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Drafting Kevin Durant at No. 2 is the easy part for new Sonics GM Sam Presti. The hard part is figuring out what to do with Ray Allen, who could be on the move if Presti decides to completely rebuild. The Sonics turned down Toronto's offer of the No. 1 pick last June for Allen, but Chicago and Cleveland are just two of the teams expected to try to get Allen if he's put on the block. Toronto doesn't have the cap space to land Allen. Several GMs expect Seattle's free-agent-to-be, Rashard Lewis, to leave, with Orlando as his prime destination, with Carter likely re-signing in New Jersey. But Michael Jordan says the Bobcats are going to start spending big money on free agents and if owner Bob Johnson opens his vault for the first time, Lewis could wind up in Charlotte. Where have you heard this one before: Isiah Thomas doesn't have the pieces to land Lewis in a sign-and-trade.</div>

Is there an all-star/superstar out there that isn't rumored to Chicago?

^ Well, it's a big market and we're winning now, hell, we even had some people like T-Mac rumored to come here when we were a mess.

But Ray is getting up there, and it likely means bye-bye Ben, who will be better in a few years, so even though Ray is good and I actually wanted him like 2 seasons ago, its Kobe, Amare, or our current core.

I wouldn't give up Ben for him, because he's older and does the same things except he's taller. Isn't great at defense either just as Gordon.

By the end of this year BG may be a better player than RayRay. So the smart thing to do is to keep the younger guy.

I'd be pretty pleased about a trade for Ray Allen. I think we should try to win now with Ben Wallace in the squad.

Not sure if I'd care for Ray Allen on this team unless the Sonics are willing to accept Ben Gordon in return along with bench warmers. I don't like his injury problems. I'd much prefer Kobe Bryant, depending on how much the Lakers want in return.
