Supposedly on CSN they were talking about a rumored deal that would be Miller + #12 to the Hawks for the #3 pick. Does anyone know if there's any truth to this? If anyone could find a link, that would be great. Personally, I'd love this, as long as Billy can package our two other picks and secure a guy like Crittenton or Law. Because our only two PGs would be Williams and Ollie, unless Green shifts over the 1(although he doesn't make the best decisions...)
Good trade for both teams, imo. Atlanta gets a very capable PG and 12th overall in a very deep draft, and philly can take anyone they want aside from Durant and Oden.
Is there no love for Andre? It seems whatever team that gets him they look to trade him... What's wrong with him?
The Philadelphia Inquirer also reported this. You can see it on hoopshype, i just dont feel like posting a link. This is exactly what king has to do, and the reason why miller wasnt traded earlier in the season.
It's probably nothing more than a rumor. Although I'd love to get my hands on a guy like Conley or Horford with the no. 3 with still holding onto the no. 21 and 30. <div class="quote_poster">Ed! Once he came over from Denver our season really started to turn around (and Denver's subsequently went in the other direction). He's really not a bad player, I loved watching him the last few months of the season. I'd try to go through all costs to hold onto him during the draft, but if Atlanta is showing us the third pick it's going to be hard.

Andre Miller is a decent player, but he isn't a player thats not expendable...thats why he gets traded so much.

Take away Miller and this team really has no experience. While I'm for the idea of putting out a younger team, we still need some key guys with experience to show the young players how it's done. With all that being said, it would be foolish to turn down a trade that would bring in the third best player in the richest draft class in years. Dealing Miller just to get younger would be a bad idea.
