WOW! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe Bryant met with Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak for about an hour at the team's training facility in El Segundo to discuss the Lakers future and trades before or during draft 2007. The Lakers have somehow accepted and agreed to trade Andrew Bynum, Kwame Brown, Jordan Farmar, 19th pick, 2008 1st round pick, and some fillers for JO + 2008 2nd round pick. Not yet so sure on what the delay is but furthermore, the Rockets and Lakers are in negotiation that possibly sending Luther Head + Bonzi Wells for Brain Cook + Sasha Vujacic + 40th pick and Cash. The reason for the holdup is because the Rockets ask for Ronny Turiaf instead of Sasha Vujacic but the assistant general manager Kobe Bryant does not want to deal Ronny.</div>
Hey dont give up ronny. That would be a mistake. Hes the kind of player that every team would want off the bench.

The funny thing is now the lakers are motivated to make moves. all of these moves couldve been made this past season but they just sat there and waited. Kobe is playing the Lakers management like a fiddle. LOL!

This trade might have been a smoke screen to land the big ticket. JO will not be a Laker! I'm just tuned to ever sports news source to see if this KG proposal is accepted.

The reason I say this is the fact the Lakers are trading this year's pick and next year's pick. The NBA does not allow a team to trade 1st rounder's in consecutive years. The loophole around it is by drafting for a team and then trading the rights to that player.
