I found myself hoping that the WWE was really sick and heartless enough to fake the whole thing. Such a tragedy. R.I.P. EDIT: Wow....
This is all pure speculation at this point, lets wait until the investigation is over to draw conclusions...
<div class="quote_poster">lakersfan171 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah if he killed his wife and son i have lost my respect for him.</div> I don't know anyone who will still respect the guy if this is the case.
That's a big "if". Benoit doesn't seem like the type of guy to do such a thing and I hope that he didn't.
He doesn't seem like the type of guy, but how often do we hear of rapists, murderers, and pedophiles who seem like normal individuals. The kind you would never suspect. How many of us thought of the possibility that Micheal Jackson could be a child molester, before the accusations started popping up?
Usually the people that do this don't come off as the type of person that would. He probably had alot of **** built up. Regardless, if it's true I take back my R.I.P.
Thats immediately what I suspected when I heard about this story. For some reason I've heard about a few of these in the last year or so that happened around here including one where a lot of the kids form my school knew a girl who was murdered by her father (who also killed the rest of his family and himself). Of course you'll never know for sure what happened, I would say that the police report is probably right. A lot of people in wrestling have major problems with depression and addiction though. They're on the road most of the year constantly moving away from their families in a profession that beats their body to hell (even though its fake) and a ton of them are on steroids. Many turn to drugs and alcohol. Thats why you hear about wrestlers dying fairly often due to overdoses or things related to mental illness, specifically depression. I mean how many wrestlers have you heard about dying over the last 5 years or so? I have no idea of the exact number but definitely way too many. Its no wonder most of the really big stars usually get out when they can and go to movies or just retire because the working conditions are probably horrible, especially for the guys who aren't superstars.
<div class="quote_poster">lakersfan171 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah if he killed his wife and son i have lost my respect for him.</div> Agree. Though I think some people are taking it pretty far wishing he burns in hell and pays for his sins or whatever. The guy clearly had issues, nothing justifies him killing his family obviously thats disgraceful but its all the more reason to pray for the guy (if you're religious, which I'm not). R.I.P. to he and his family.
<div class="quote_poster">NTC Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">If he did infact do that, he can burn in hell for all I care. This coming from a WCW Benoit fan.</div> I agree, but let's not jump to that conclusion yet.
