Just listened to Espnews and their saying that the trade now has becomed a three team deal. Phoenix, Minnesota, and Boston.

    Phoenix receive: KG
Minnesota receives: 5th pick and a couple of players (not named yet).
    Boston receives: Marion.

BTW: There saying that it keeps on changing every min.

Leave it to Danny Ainge to allow Phoenix to get Garnett without giving up Amare. That's such sh*t.

I will be so pissed if PHX gets KG. They just want to make the trade, so LA doesn't improve. Bunch of chicken $h!)$

I think the main reason why they want to make the trade is because it improves them enough to win a championship, not just to screw the Lakers.

Boston is stupid. Is Shawn Marion really worth more than Odom and Bynum? The deal I heard had Boston giving up Jefferson, Ratliff and the 5 pick. That's a lot for Marion, who is arguably a down grade over Jermaine.

No but they don't have to give up a lot of their young talent like Jefferson or Green.

Man, that's some slick GM'ing by Kerr though (if this does happen).

Boston would be really dumb to give up Al Jefferson and the #5 to get Shawn Marion.

^^Yup I think that the #5 pick alone is worth more than Marion. This trade better be shut down by something.

Charlotte has said that they'd be the third team in a deal with L.A. and Minnesota. We should get them involved, send them Odom and the 19, send Othella, 8th pick, Bynum, and Kwame to Minny, and KG to L.A.

^^ That would be great if the Lakers and Wolves start with Charlotte involved.

That sounds pretty reasonable for all teams involved if the guy they want at 8 isn't available. As a Magic fan I would love it, they lose a lot of cap space and this likely means Gerald Wallace won't be resigned.

My only question about that though is why would they agree to absorb a LOT of cap space for Odom, while giving up the #8 pick. Felton, Carroll/Morrison(or FA/resign Wallace), Odom, May, Okafor looks like a pretty solid lineup that would make the playoffs.

ESPN News also said that Mitch Kupchack has been telling other GM's that the deal is dead and the breaking News states, " Kevin Garnett to Lakers trade Dead."[IMG] [IMG]

I thought Marion didn't want to be traded to Boson or Minnesota?

If Phoenix lands KG, we need to deal Kobe, because the Lakers have no chance winning for the next 4 or 5 seasons.

Supposedly the deal is just #5 pick and fillers(Theo Ratliff + about 3-5 more million) and not involving Al Jefferson. That would be a pretty good trio with Pierce, Marion, and Jefferson.

So are discussions between LA and Minny closed for good? UGH!! I was so excited, and now I am disappointed. We BETTER get JO, and Phoenix better NOT get KG.

He is the con in this, he can kill the deal. Jim Gray reported that he and his agent are discussing it right now. Boston wants him to sign an extension with them, if it does occur. Its all being discussed.
