I think the Suns are dumb for doing this, but if it goes through the Hawks are looking good with that lineup.

Much better than AStoudamire with all his injuries.</div>
    Say what?

With "all his injuries" Amare played 82 games, and averaged 25 and 12 while making all NBA first team. Those players much better huh?

    Looks to be coming alive:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">NEW YORK – Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett is close to going to the Phoenix Suns in a monumental three-way trade that would send Phoenix forward Amare Stoudemire to the Atlanta Hawks, league sources said Wednesday.

Atlanta would move the Nos. 3 and 11 picks in Thursday's draft, as well as Zaza Pachulia and Anthony Johnson, to Minnesota.

Minnesota owner Glen Taylor has delivered a mandate to his basketball executives to get a deal done, one league executive said.

Yahoo! Sports has learned that the trade would also save the Hawks from an emerging showdown between the front office and coaching staff over whom to draft with the third pick. The front office and coaching staff had settled on Florida power forward Al Horford, but a faction of the Atlanta Spirit ownership group, with business interests in China, is pushing them to take Yi Jianlian.</div>

when was odom a 20/10 pf? He has been playing mainly pf for the lakers all these years hasn't he? I think this is a good trade for everyone. The Hawks don't need more draft picks. The wolves need to rebuild and the expiring contracts and picks make that easy, and the Suns get a great chance to win right now for a few years.

I agree. Suns have an unprotected lottery pick from Atlanta next year and they gotta root for them to lose. Why on earth are they sending Amare to help them win more games? Unless Steve Kerr really feels sorry for the Joe Johnson Boris Diaw deal and wants to help the stupid Hawks out.

More over, without a decent Point Guard to deliver the ball to Amare, what good is Amare gonna be?

Amare is still gonna be able to do good. I mean JJ can play the point and he's solid. That team is scary if that happens. Amare in the East??? Yikes. Lamar hasn't been a 20/10 guy in years. Andrew Bynum hasn't done **** since being in the league. Yes, the expiring contract is nice but you get AMARE. An instant All-Star that CAN get 20/10 and is a good post player do complement Josh Smith and JJ.
