Rudy Fern?ndez was the best player still on the board in the later Lottery. Phoenix would be stupid as hell to pass him up at this point. Whoa!! Portland going to get Rudy Fern?ndez??!! Damn this team is stormin'.

He's actually really similar to Sergio, so that should be interesting. Really athletic, proven at the best level, and a creative playmaker. The contract situation is difficult though. Anybody else think that Phoenix is more hesitant to make a deal with Colangelo because of the way he left? That's two straight years where we were looking to buy late in the 1st round, Phoenix was selling, and we came out empty.
Portland are well on their way back up to the top and I'm loving it as a classics fan.
