    Rogers got released.

High Detroit Lion draft picks should get together and file a class action suit against Matt Millen for ruining thier lives....

Rogers got a $14 million signing bonus, so I don't think he's hurting too much. [IMG]

Sad thing is, that if you are drafted that high by an NFL franchise, you can get the glory and the cash....wouldnt that suck to apply for the NFL draft, and miss playing for an NFL team by the slightest of margins....on the bright side, now he can sign with an NFL team....

I wonder who will sign him? 49ers definetly need a WR, Philip Rivers could use an extra target, Pats really need a WR maybe belicheck could get Rodgers to shape up

I wish Dennis Green would sign him. That would be an even more sick offense with Fitzgerald, Boldin, Rodgers and Bryant Johnson. And then have Edge at RB.

I know, Childress can release another promising rookie for him. Oh, wait, he's never played with Rogers? Well then, I guess we all know that he won't give him a chance.

Adam Schefter of the NFL Network points out that not one team put a waiver claim in on Charles Rogers after he was cut on Saturday.

September 4, NFL.com: Detroit dealt wide receiver Charles Rogers one clear-cut signal that he's not the player he thinks he is when the Lions cut him this weekend. The next sign came when no other team -- not one of the other 31 teams -- put in a waiver claim for wide receiver once drafted with the second overall pick.

Now it is up to Rogers' agent, Kevin Poston, to find his client work. It is not going to be easy. Teams are leery of a player who has suffered two broken collarbones, a four-game suspension, and is one strike away from a year-long suspension.

The former No. 2 overall pick found no interest so far, but Artose Pinner was the first Lion cut to be snapped up by another team. The Vikings got him. As a matter of fact, the Steelers also put in a claim for him.

If that isn't damning for Rogers, how about another tidbit Schefter reported: Koren Robinson is getting interest from the Packers. This is another first round pick who is openly battling his own demons. Enough so that he was cut from two teams while battling alcoholism. It may be ruining his career, but he's getting interest while Rogers is not.

Why would someone claim him off waivers? So they can take on his contract? Ridiculous, of course they are going to let him hit FA. If anything, it shows how dumb millen is for drafting him, and how dumb owner is for hiring millen, and how dumb fans are for showing up.
