Supposedly a deal is really close to happening. Amare to Phx, the 3 and 11 plus fillers to Minnesota, and KG to Phx. Not that scared of Phx if they trade Amare. Stupid move on their part, IMO.

^^I agree....Amare is much younger and can still get better....getting KG closes the window of opportunity for a title, and once Nash is over the hill you won't have a guy like Amare to build the team around....
it just doesn't make sense. A. he's younger and possibly even better than KG B. had Amare and Diaw not been suspended they could very well be NBA champs right now This will hurt Phoenix more than help them....
The main thing I hear is an issue with Amare's ego and him saying that he wouldn't mind a trade to Atlanta. I personally want KG in Phoenix but love the run-and-gun Suns WITH Marion and Amare. Tough call to me. You also have to remember that the Suns are playing for the championship NOW. The ship sails with Nash (they feel) and they want to pile everything for the run now. The main issue I would have is will KG do everything that Amare does in regards to the fastbreak finish. Amare is a beast....I don't know if I'd push the button on this one.
Well if this happens then the hawks will get really better Johnson - Smith - Amare would kill As for KG, why the hell would he call up kobe if he'd prefer to go to the suns? LOL
Stupid to trade Amare because his younger than KG and is not in his prime when Amare is his going to be a awesome player.
