<u>Taking It For Granted</u> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jun 28 - Someone close to Brevin Knight is taking it for granted that the Bobcats will buy out the final season of Knight's contract. The Bobcats have that option, turning a $4 million-plus obligation into a $1.5 million buy-out. That same source suspects the Bobcats could make some sort of a bid for Chauncey Billups in free-agency. -- Charlotte Observer</div> Billups would improve the team. But if they spend all their money on Billups, doesnt that mean Gerald Wallace is free to go? [good news for magic fans]
What about Raymond Felton? I thought he was supposed to be the future starting point guard. What ever happened to that?

I don't think Chauncey has the same mentality as somone like Joe Johnson. At this point in his career he wants to win, I'm pretty sure he'll resign with Detroit unless a good team with some cap space can offer him a bigger contract, (sound familiar?)
They don't need another PG. Anyone who watches the bobcats would realize that we need a guy that can put points on the board. Felton is and should be the PG, and CHA really needs to stop playing Knight and Felton at the same time. Felton should start, and Knight should come in and give him a rest.
