Diogu would be great for this team. Elton Brand type of player. Could really be of help to us on the boards and is even a decent shot blocker.
Reportedly the deal fell apart and Luther Head and the 26th pick are on their way to L.A. for Brian Cook and the 19th pick. Someone posted a link the Laker forum.
If Thorton was available at 19 I would do the Laker trade. JBB board got him in the late teens I like the new GM's attitude. He said he wants the best player and expects to fill the real needs with trade or free agency
I thought Diogu's contract expired already. If so, can't we just sign him, he would be nice to have on this team. Ike Diogu for the 26th pick is a no-brainer deal for the Rockets. Rockets would probably have to give up another player for that. The Head for Cook deal looks pretty good as well if we can upgrade to the 19th pick.
