<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I just checked it out and one of my sources is telling me that the Sixers may trade up to #3 with Atlanta. And, they won't even have to give up Iguodala, rather they'll trade them Andre Miller and most likely their 12th and 21st picks. And, the man they want of course if Al Horford.

If they can't work out a deal with the Hawks, they'll try to move up between the 6th and 8th spots to select Jeff Green.

The word is they will unlikely select at 12, but if they do they'll take Spencer Hawes (as their first choice) or Al Thornton if he's there.

We'll continue to keep you updated as we hear more.</div>

I'm still not crazy about giving up Andre Miller, but if it means getting Horford then I'm all for it. If we trade Miller and come away with the third pick to pick Yi I will be quite mad at Billy King.

It would be sweet to land Horford...

I would love to move up and get Horford...he is exactly the player this team really needs. I wouldn't mind taking Sean Williams with out last first rounder either.

Yeah if Sixers could get number three pick. GET HORFORD! no doubt about it. But if there stuck at 12 get Thonrton. Hawes was hurt the whoel season and could be a liability. While Thonrton stayed all four years of college and you know what to expect.

Please I will take anyone but Sean Williams. The guy is the absolute opposite of everything we are looking for in terms of character. I predict he will be out of the league within four to five years do to substance abuse or off the court arrests.

And since when has Philly been a good citizen, role model like team? lol

Look i actually used to watch him when he played for BC. H's not gonna probably start in the NBA right of the bat, but hes gonna provide some crazy energy and defensive hustle off the bench of the Sixers.

If the sixers do trade andre for the pick though, it might be smarter not to get him and get a point guard. But dont say nobody draft him! It was just pot, all thletes smoke pot s hit. It's not an enhancing drug liek steroids or somethin so its easily forgivable. And most scouts and teams are saying Williams is killin workouts and looks in good shape and has learned from his mistakes.

Why wouldnt a team wanna draft him, when people are saying hes a better defnder than Greg Oden??

Actually last time he was interviewed, seemed like he turned his life around. I don't really think we'd need to worry about Sean's character anymore really.

He was booted off BC less than five months ago, thats hardly enough time to make a significant change in your life, one that you were not able to make in three years at BC with a huge support group around you giving you numerous opportunities to shape up. I'm not a believer in this guy, especially with Cheeks as his coach. A players coach, a player with a bad attitude, along with few veteran leaders in the locker room is just asking for disaster.

    Who is saying that?

Of course a team is going to draft him, it would be ignorant of me to think that every team in the NBA will pass on talent due to character issues. I just don't want it to be us, and obviously not all athletes smoke pot because not all of them are getting thrown off their teams.

At number 30 I would love to take one of Morris Almond, Derrick Byars, or Alando Tucker. Like you said though we are going to have to wait and see what happens.

and look at every draft analysis and they'll tell you Williams is the second if not first best defender in this draft.

The guy got thrown off his college basketball team for using drugs, don't really think that's anything to joke about. He slapped his teammates in the face by saying he rather do drugs then contribute in a team environment. I'm not quite sure that Billy King feels the same way as me (or Blur for that matter), if he's about to dish out a guaranteed contract to him with the no. 30 overall pick in the draft.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Blur:</div><div class="quote_post">At number 30 I would love to take one of Morris Almond, Derrick Byars, or Alando Tucker. Like you said though we are going to have to wait and see what happens.</div>

We need a big man. By looking around the forum, it doesn't look like any of us are huge fans of Spencer Hawes with the 12 (nor am I). We'd either have to dish out the 21 or 30 to get a big, and I have a strange feeling that King is going to make a mistake with Williams.

I'd love to trade up, get the third pick, take Horford then with the no. 30 go ahead and grab a shooter like a Morris Almond or Marco Belinelli.
