No, he's interesting all right, I just forgot who he was. I thought he was Marko Thomas for a second. Marko is supposed to be the Brent Barry mixed with a little Ray Allen, but doesn't drive the lane much, even though he's a fantastic dunker. Also, not sure about his passing ability. Ray and Barry are pretty good playmakers.

I'm happy with it. Not thrilled but I'll take it. Guy sounds pretty solid,. deifnitely a solid athlete and the ESPN guy liked him a lot.

J-Rich or Monta gone now? Probably not lol, but maybe down the line.

    It's a replacement for Pietrus, I guess.

    I hope not Jrich...

I saw him do other things like alley oops and take these long three pointers, but I wonder if he can drive and dish and play a little D? Also, how is his free throw shooting?

that was my first thought..... the guy is certainly skilled and athletic, and is probably the best shooter on the team from day 1.

I'm just hoping like he77 they grab Hill with their next pick.

I have no problem drafting SG, because we need to replace Pietrus and Barnes. Also, Nelson will not play marginal big man. But, his last year wasn't exactly great, and I heard that he didn't have a good workout either. Hope he can make his usual crazy 3 pts in here...

Marco is great on offense, but...

Strengths: The most valuable asset that Belinelli brings to the table is his outside shooting. He has NBA range on his jumper, and is one of the best shooters available in the draft. He is equally accurate shooting off of the dribble or from a standstill position. He is an outstanding athlete for a European shooting guard, owning above-average leaping ability and lateral quickness. He has shown the ability to be an adept defender - when he wants to be.

Weaknesses: Although he owns above-average athleticism, he is not very effective at getting to the rim. The large majority of his points come off of jumpers, leaving one to question his aggressiveness and ability to play physically. He has shown to be merely an average ballhandler and passer for a shooting guard. His effort lapses on the defensive end, occasionally making him appear to be a liability despite his potential on that end.

Outlook: In a draft incredibly weak at the shooting guard position, Belinelli has the ability to see himself land in the middle of the first round with solid workouts. In the worst-case scenario, he should wind up being a late first round pick. He has the ability to immediately contribute with his deadly shooting stroke. This week?s Reebok Eurocamp in Treviso, Italy will prove crucial in where Belinelli lands.

    Well...

What we pretty much know for sure: the Warriors liked Belinelli more than Smith.

What I'm really hoping: it was because they're making a deal for Garnett. It'd make sense if Richardson or Ellis were involved, but I've been wrong a lot more today than I've been right.
