Ok, now i'm ticked. I did not know Bryars was still available. And i do agree with voodoo that hawes and wright were a better choice for us but i really don't think brewer was a wrong choice. I still think he is gonna help us out a lot and i think that this pick means that RD is gone. We will have to wait and see, but i really wanted Hawes, o well though

Excellent pick. Brewer can play 3 different positions and has height, is athletic, and is a winner. This is a good first step in the mission to surround KG with good talent.

What do you Minny fans make of the KG situation now? It seems like taking Brewer over Brandan Wright or Spencer Hawes would indicate that they're keeping KG and continuing to build around him. You would imagine that if they were really trading KG they'd want a young big to build around.

Yeah, i think you are right. I think that they really wanted to pull the trigger on the atl pho trade though. But now i hope we can get rid of RD for maybe artest or bibby or chauncey or something lol. Idk, we will see how the off season goes.

I've always thought that Corey Brewer had the most potential out of the Florida Gators trio. He is a great all around player who is exciting to watch. I'll definitely be following his career and rooting for him.

Yeah same here. He is one of my favorites from this class. Maybe my most favorite.

I don't get how the T'Wolves organization think by drafting, they're helping surround KG with the talent he needs.

Imo I think they could have gotten better with the pick, not exactly wasted, but Brew will still be a good addition to the Wolves squad.

Usually wings can play shooting guard and small forward innerchangably, but Brewer's about the closest I've seen to a "true" small forward in a long time. He'll probably spend 90% of his time there and 10% of his time at shooting guard, and that'll just be because the Timberwolves could use him more there.

What's the third position though? No way can Brewer play in post or run the point.

That's all true, but how is he going to realize any of that potential playing behind Ricky Davis? The Wolves should have gone with Wright or Hawes and let Brewer slide to Charlotte, where he'd be a better fit anyway.
