What surprises me is that Cowher only decided to carry 2 QB's on the 53 man roster. That would be fine if Randle-El were on the roster. Hines Ward played QB in college, so anything is possible.

Will Selva who does Sports on Headline News in the morning said it took him several weeks to recover from a appendectomy.

Pittsburgh might have to activate Omar Jacobs from the practice squad or re-sign Tommy Maddox. Neither would not fill me w/ great confidence were I a Steelers fan.

I'm not an elite athlete, but when I had my appendix out it wasn't a one week recovery. Don't they still have to cut through the abdominal muscles? Anything that involved crunching the abs was a bitch for a couple of weeks. I got a sexy scar though. LOL

You did not want to take any "ribbing" about Jeff George but you burden us w/ the TMI about your scar.

I think that Ben will heal fast, but week 3 or even 4 is more realistic. Could be 0-2 starting out. Then again, we do have a very good defense and decent running game. Don't count us out just yet.

Charlie Batch is without a doubt the best former Lions QB in the NFL. I get a kick out of the Dolphin fans even opening their mouths with the "Princess" as their back-up! The Steelers will be fine with Batch under center on Thursday night.

Did the Vikings cut Mike McMahon yet? lol!

Yeah, I get a kick out of Lions fans, who haven't even sniffed a winning season in a decade, constantly baiting Dolphin fans. Hey, don't blame us because Matt Millen spent a first round draft pick (3rd overall, right?) on Harrington and then proceeded to try and ruin the kid with crappy coaching and fragile wide receivers. Call him "princess" all you want, but the truth is your wideouts should wear pink uniforms. At least, Harrington suited up and took the field.

Charlie Batch is a good backup QB. I would be more worried about Hines Ward not playing. I just wonder if Batch is going to have much chemistry with the WRs that the Steelers currently have. That said, the Steelers proved in Super Bowl XL that they know how to win as a team, so I hope the Dolphins come in prepared for a dogfight. I'm expecting to see a defensive battle as I think both teams will still be looking for their offensive identity.

Testify, Dale! That calls for a chair shot and some Aqua & orange spray paint.

If The Lions WR corps were any more "ginger", they could be on an episode of Gilligan's Island. If your not down w/ that...

Im not going to attack any of the players on Detroits roster....its not thier fault they got drafted by the Lions....Im sure they had a dream to play in the NFL, and god willing, they can eventually get out of Detroit and realize that dream....

I refer to Lions War Room as Charlie's Chocolate Factory. They're experts are producing candies. I would call out the WRs by name, but I have trouble remembering their names. There's nothing special about them.

"Princess" happens to be the nickname Joey was given by his college teamates. His teamates in Detroit likely had a few names for him we can't repeat here.

By the way ... Miami has in fact been reported to be interested in Charles Rogers according to the Palm Beach Post! LMAO!

To put it in perspective, A.J. Feeley was one of Joey's teammates.

BTW, Zack, There you go w/ the same old, tired, repeated alleged insults. I guess I was right theorizing that you were vaccinated w/ a phonograph needle.... and not a sharp one at that.
