I think this was a win win trade. They get a proven scorer with some good years ahead of him at a reasonable price and we get rid of a large contract while getting a big guy with unknown albeit limitless potential...

He looked like Andirs Biedrins in this video. He looked great at finding the open seem, and then attacking once he gets the ball. You have to like his athleticism, and his nickname must be something about his long arms, they're unfair for the opponents, hah. The clip did not show any plays of him facing bigger players and going one-on-one in the post. Now of course if he had displayed tremendous one-on-one skills in the paint against bigger guys then perhaps he wouldn't had even fallen to number 8. From what I have seen he looks like another Andris Biedrins with perhaps a little better fluidity to his game. It just may be a little frustrating having Wright and Biedrins in the front court together since they both struggle from the line it seems. But defensively those two should be able to get a lot of block shots it seems like.

Now we just need to take Patrick O'Bryant to Oz to get some heart/competitiveness. That would be an interesting trio of POB, Wright, and Biedrins. The team can even put Harrington up there as well. I am pleased by this pick. Also before this POB transition finding someone to replace JRich and getting a back up PG (I like Ridnour) sounds like the next steps with most priority for this team.

I think this trade made us a lot younger too when we were already one of the youngest teams in the NBA...
