#14: Al Thornton, Forward, Florida State
    #45: Jared Jordan, Guard, Marist

Good draft for the Clippers, they got a guard in the second round like I was thinking they should look to do, and a nice one too. They got Thornton who's a very skilled player with their pick, and while he won't play PF on the team, a nice big foward.

Al Thornton is a good player, but I thought for sure they were going to pick Crittenton.

I did as well, but I'm glad he slipped to the Lakers [IMG] Al Thornton was a nice pickup for the Clippers, but I don't see him getting too much time next season. The 3 spot is clogged with Maggette and Ross, and isn't big enough to play the 4. Hopefully they can bring him along slowly because Maggette will be opting out after the season and my money is on Maggette bolting out of town.

Maybe they got a Maggette deal in the works and that wold explain this pick. They picked up Quinton Ross' option recently too, so maybe they're preparing for something big?
