I'm not suggesting they do either.

Trade 1 - They could match KG's salary with Harrington, Foyle, Cabbage

Trade 2 - Then trade Wright + TE for Hudson

Warriors Projected Lineup

PG - Baron
SG - Ellis
SF - SJax
PF - KG
C - Beans

Yeah, that would work then, its almost the same as the trade I just said. But your original trade was different than this one, thats where I got confused.

The question now is do you think a Baron/Jackson/KG/Biedrins (and Nelson) core will contend? That window will last us probably 2-4 years. I really don't know if that can beat Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio, etc. Theres 3 max or near max contracts there too which leaves limited cap flexibility to add more pieces around that core. In 3 or 4 years Baron, Jackson, KG, and Nelson are going to be over the hill and assuming we lock up Baron and KG to long term extensions we'll have them around for a very long time.

Compare that to a core of Ellis/Wright/Biedrins for the next 10+ years. Does that core contend for a championship after the Spurs dynasty, Nash retires, Mavs crumble, etc? If Wright is a stud after a year or two then Baron and Nellie may still be around and we may have a pretty good team then.

Not to be picky -- I'm just trying to understand how this works -- but you say you can't package the TE with another player, and then suggest packaging the TE with Wright. Is it because he's a draft pick, or not "officially" an NBA player yet?

Correct, it would be the "rights to Wright."

But if the Wolves just wanted Wright included, couldn't they just put him in the first trade? That would save the TE for better player than Hudson.

Not that I want to trade for KG or anything. In fact quite the opposite.
