Curtis had a pretty good year for Villanova, coming back from a serious knee injury and putting up around 17 points a game. I'm assuming that the injury is what turned many teams away from Sumpter, but he is a solid player, and would be a welcome addition, I would think, to the 76ers as an undrafted rookie free agent. Opinions?
He's undersized for his position, but I would not mind taking a chance at him. From looking at his numbers he seems like he's great on the glass, which is what we need. I wouldn't mind signing him to a deal.
Just a side question about Sumpter: Now that he`s done college and wasn`t drafted, does Curtis Sumpter just play in mini leagues until he gets a call from a team? How does it work for him finanically?

If that does not work out he would most likely be heading the NBDL.
As Blur demonstrated in another thread, the 76ers have a pretty deep roster quanity wise. I don't think the 76ers have much room to sign any undraftees.
Undersized yes but he plays like a 7-footer. Kind of reminds me of Kenny Thomas, also an undersized PF, but plays BIG. I would love Curtis to give us depth at the 4.
