I don't know if anybody has been listening to sports talk radio these past couple of weeks; specifically KLAC, with the exception of the Loose cannons, it seems that they are all out to down Kobe about this whole thing. Joe McDonald, Money & Petro, Rogan & Simmers, they all are totally talking shhht about Kobe. Not to mention the writers out there. It just blows me away!!!! For instance, the Money and Petro show, those guys get so obnoxious; they're just sounding stupid. Thats another thing, I think that show blows!!! Its was so much better when Joe Grande was on there when it was called "Good Times"... I don't know, maybe its just me. It just seems like they REALLY hate him now, even though they say that they don't, but you can hear it in their dialog. They really want to put down Kobe for what he did. I guess Kobe should've just kept quiet and not say anything

They always find the negative spin to place on the local teams, I often wonder why they don't re-locate to another city. The problem with most of these personalities is the fact they aren't from LA to begin with. All of them are two-faced as well. They'll kiss butt when they get a player on their show, and as soon as it ends they bad mouth that person. I really liked Matt Money Smith before they stuck him with Petros. The P has been a terrible influence on Money's credibility. I can't stand the PMS show. Joe McDonald is butt hurt about Kobe because Kobe won't give him an interview. And McDonald loves Shaq.

Petro was, as usual, talk his crap about Kobe probably trying to gain followers for his hate kobe campain. But Petro asked Fred about what he thought about Kobe and if he felt that he went about things the wrong way. To his surprise, Fred totally backed up Kobe.. I LOVED IT!!!! because you could hear it in petros voice that he was trying to get Fred to stoop to his level, but Fred told him what was up... Also, when they had Baron Davis on there, he tried to do the same thing and Baron said "Kobe's the man in my book..." Petros and Money were like asking question after question still trying get Baron to say one thing negitive about Kobe... But my biggest hatred goes out to that Simmers dude, ahhh man!!! the last show he had, you just had to hear it; I really wanted to ring his neck... Anyways, those shows can be downloaded at the am570 site... If you haven't heard them you should go check em out. On the positive, the Loose cannons are always fun to listen to, in my opinion at least...
The show I had a good laugh at was Joe McDonald banging on Kobe Bryant for not signing anymore #8 merchandise. He was ranting about Kobe being selfish and money hungry. Then he finds out later in the show, the deal Kobe made with upperdeck for the last #8 jerseys he signed ALL WENT TO CHARITY. Despite getting completely owned, he still tried to spin the charity work Kobe did in a negative light. The guy is unbelievable.
<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">VTB > them all. God, I love that man.</div> LOL I always download the podcasts and VTB is a legend. He's such a fanboy and he always has faith in our team. He said he believed that we had the team to win the championship last year
I like Joe Mcdonald and his show but I dont agree with him on most things he says about Kobe and he always thinks like he's a huge insider because he used to a "grewat reporter" him and all his stories. Go Tim Cates and Michael Johnson. Feeeeeeeeeeeeling you
petro's, mcdonald, and simers all hate on kobe for years now. That's no surprise. on a somewhat tangent, loose cannons is great. Mychael Thompson and Vic the Brick would jump in front of a bus for the Lakers, and Hartman gives them a little bit of balance with is devil's advocate personality
Rogan is an asshole. I was listening to one of the podcasts from a few days ago and he said that Kobe said that "he hates Bynum" on the Kobe Video. When the hell did he say that? Kobe stated that Mitch should have traded Kidd for Bynum but no way did he say he dislikes Bynum or any other teammates. Also, when asked about Bynums potential, he sidetracked on the question and didn't answer it. Not once did he say Bynum has no potential. The only negative thing he said was "Mitch had the nerve to ask me about the Kidd trade." He already said this in the various interviews before the infamous "I want to be traded, I don't want to be traded" incident. In fact, that clip is overrated and nothing new is stated on it, apart from a couple of f-bombs.

I pretty much only like the LCs' those guys are fun to listen to, Thank God they let you download their shows. I don't mind Joe McDonald so much but he can get on a negative vibe at times. As far as PMS goes, I HATE those guys, especially Pompis-dick-us, god he's annoying!!!!! Sad, I really liked listening to the Good Times show after the Loose Cannons, now I have nothing to look forward to after them... Anyways, there was some interesting talk about the draft choices for the Lakers, not to mention the interviews with Mitch. A lot of shhht talking from lots of callers (with/against Kobe)as well as from the hosts (JMC, LCs, Lee Klien, etc...)
Again, let me state: Vick the Brick > anyone on am570. Rogan is a dick, I can't stand that clown. Sometimes I wonder how half of these idiots got jobs.
