IMO all of us are pretty depressed of the fact that we had no major changes made in our lineup with the draft having come and done. But all is not lost im hoping for kobe to give it one more year... heck if this year fails he could opt out and him and kg could hang out and tell every team in the league that both of them could be had, for the LLE, the only catch is that they would have to play together LOL So anyway if kobe decides to give it all out AGAIN this season as he always does and if we stay clear from the injury bug... we COULD STILL be contenders... Why? - we never really got to see what our intact lineup could have done - Our team got even deeper with the addition of Javaris C. and Mihm coming back to the lineup - Vlad and Kwame should be 100% - MAYBE papaloukas could really help us But one of the major factors that COULD make us better is if Lamar HAS LEARNED to produce consistently With all that we could easily get past the 1st and 2nd round... Lets stop being depressed, if theres a trade for KG or JO then good, but if nothing happens then just what kobe always says before a game "bring it on"
i dont know why we didnt make any trades, this is stupid. odom should be out, as should bynum. we could have improved and got ourselves a good player in the draft, but all we did is add more players that cant pass and are questionable at best. our FO needs to quit because they know, i know, and everyone else knows that they're not going anywhere with this team and are too busy playing golf and making money off of kobe and laughing about it. until this team pulls itself together than i dont see the point in them even playing because they arent going to make it past the first round with their current roster, simple as that.

For one, I doubt KG and especially Kobe would want to waste a year with teams that are not even close to being contenders, only because a few minor players has been added. A rookie guard won't do much, and Chris Mihm is not a game altering player. Vlad and Kwame, when at 100%, still suck. They are both mentally weak. If we even get that greek guard, maybe he could help the team a bit, but we are still in great demand of a solid big man. I doubt Odom will be much better. I hope Kobe is traded for some young players, but since nothing happened on draft day, I'm not counting on it.
