<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Noah might sit out summer: Joakim Noah has a slight tear in his right rotator cuff and might not participate in any summer-league activities. The Bulls will have entries in both the Orlando and Salt Lake City leagues.

?We may take a cautious approach with him to get him to rest up,? general manager John Paxson said. ?He had hurt it before the season ended, then he went through all these workouts.

?I?m probably leaning toward taking a cautious approach with him in the summer to get him healed up and rested. We?ll just have to take that a step at a time.?</div>

It would be best for both parties to have him sit out the summer league, let him get his health straight.

I wonder what Noah's reaction to that will be. He's a competitor he will hate to be out, but it benefits everyone to do that.

Bulls knew that and they still picked him over Hawes. Noah won't really be able to develope anything offensivley this summer, I guess.

Honestly I don't think Noah is going to be as big of a liability on offense as you guys think. He might not score a lot of points, but I think he is good enough to put the others in better situations with his passing and ball handling ability. He will also help get 2nd chance opportunities by crashing the boards. Even if he doesn't get the rebound, he will keep it alive for someone else to try to get it. He will get to some of the loose balls that you haven't been able to get. He just has such a high basketball IQ and a strong desire to succeed.

Yeah, your dad is the team doctor, too.

Injuries like this can easily become worse. It's best that he rests.
