What is the Twolves projected rotation assuming the team stays the same? Also who other than KG might be dealt to improve the ball club?
Is there really that much guesswork involved? The Timberwolves return every single player from their roster last season, except for Mike James and Justin Reed, who were exchanged for Juwon Howard, who's their new backup PF/C. Other than that, and the acquisition of Brewer and Richard in the draft, this is the same team. If Kevin Garnett's traded, then we'll see some major roster shifts, but until then it looks like the same ol' lottery bound T'Wolves roster to me - PG - Randy Foye/Troy Hudson SG - Trenton Hassell/Marko Jaric/Rashad McCants/Bracey Wright SF - Ricky Davis/Corey Brewer/Justin Reed PF - Kevin Garnett/Craig Smith/Chris Richard C - Juwan Howard/Mark Blount/Mark Madsen
I didn't know much about them tbh. I would think Mccants would be either the starting SG or the backup since they drafted him in the lotto a couple years ago. Also do you guys think Brewer could take over at SG or at least move Ricky Davis to SG and let Brewer play SF? Brewer is a better version of Hassell, IMO.

Not that McCants is destined for the same fate, but he's had problems with injuries throughout his career and really hasn't been productive in what little time he has gotten. Davis is a natural small forward, and I really don't think the Timberwolves would play him out of position just so that Brewer can get more playing time. It might be a possibility to play Brewer as a two-guard, but is he really better as a two than Hassell? We're talking about a player with no NBA experience, and very little experience as a two-guard for that matter, versus a player who's entering his seventh year in the league as an NBA two. Brewer will get playing time, but I don't think he's earned a role as a starter yet, not with Davis ahead of him at least. It's a shame, because Hawes would have fit in so perfectly on this lineup, and Brewer would have fit in so perfectly if he fell to Charlotte at #8. That's the NBA for you though. These GM's never make moves that make sense. That'd be too radical. I think the draft gave me enough of an NBA fix for the summer --- back to where things make sense, college basketball.
I assume it will be the same seeing how Mike James and Reed got pretty much no minutes at the end of the year. Brewer isn't better than Hassell yet imo. But i'm sure he will get plenty of minutes. I see Blount starting at center actually and have Juwan back up the 5 and Smith back up the 4 but other than that i see the same thing as VC. I think that we are going to at least try to trade RD, Jaric, and Hudson if we can. Maybe blount but i think he is pretty solid, just doesn't work well next to KG
