    Pretty good read about our draft picks, and some trades that were going toh appen but fell short.

    Yep, read that earlier this morning. Shows you a bit of the frenzy that goes on in the War Rooms during the Draft. We were heartbreakingly close to Rudy Fernandez, but I'm quite happy about how the Draft eventually turned out, given that Fernandez isn't even likely to come over to play this season.

    Interesting. Those trades could HAVE happened. Just pointing out something minor.

    I knew there was a big chance Fernandez would slip, and he did. He is ready to put up numbers offensively in the NBA. He has a sweet jumper, and great court awareness. Portland sabotaged the Rockets two years in a row. We could have had Fernandez and Roy. Even if we were a lower seed, we would have just had an earlier pick to get Fernandez.

    Alston/James/Lucas/Spanoulis
    Roy/Fernandez/Bonzi
    T-Mac/Snyder/Novak
    Hayes/Landry/Reed
    Yao/Swift

    Looks a lot better than what we have now, especially now that Rick is our coach. Mac wouldn't have to score on the quicker shooting guards.
