<div class="quote_poster">Swish Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I think both the Magic and Knicks will improve because they've both added some big names to their rosters this offseason. I do, however, feel the Magic will be the better team this season and will get farther in the playoffs. I'm not even sure New York has what it takes to make the postseason at this point. Randolph is good but that team has so many problems. They may improve their record more than we do since it was so bad last season, but I still don't know if they'll make the playoffs.

And by the way, coming from someone who has been in the locker room before and after games and sees how the players interact, Grant's locker room presence is being overrated by the media. Bo Outlaw is someone who makes his presence felt. Hill is more of a loner. He doesn't talk to many of the guys in the locker room, he shoots around before games alone, and he doesn't really seem close to any of the players. Just my two cents.</div>
The Knicks had the 7th seed for a little while before injuries. After he hit the game-winning shot against Miami, Crawford when down with an injury and missed the rest of the season as did Lee, Richardson, and eventually Marbury. What does it say when Mardy Collins leads the entire NBA in MPG in April! Knicks were decimated by injuries last season and had they been healthy, they could have been in the playoff picture while the Magic were sitting home. Also, considering the Magic lost Darko, Dwight Howard might get into some early foul trouble, especially if he plays the Knicks.

And Grant Hill, despite being overrated in the locker room, was valuable to the team and they lost him, as well as Darko.

This is coming from someone whose team just paid $125 million to a player that plays no better defense than anyone on the Knicks.

It was $118 million, with the final year not fully guaranteed. [IMG]

And you guys overpaid Jerome James, Jared Jeffries, and traded for Francis.
