Anyone else going to early showings tonight? It opens up tonight here in Cedar Rapids at 8:00 CST, and I'm going at 11:40 when I get off work. I'm way excited to see this, probably moreso than what I was for Spiderman 3 and 300. So, anyways, I'll post my thoughts tomorrow, cause when I get home it's going to be way too late.
I'll probably check it out on Wednesday. If not, then I'll watch it by the weekend for sure. Pretty excited about this one.
The movie seems great.I'm not going to see the early showings probably going to go a week after it comes out.
Saw it here last night and it is OFF THE CHARTS!!! I loved it, and so did everyone I went with. I will be a repeat viewer for sure. 300 was the only other movie I had been as excited about, and this was right up there, maybe even better!! I will give it another viewing (I gave 300 six views!!!) ENJOY!!!
Awesome. Amazing. Unbelievable. There really aren't enough positive adjectives that I can think of to describe the movie. The action was awesome. The acting was good. The story was good (thankfully). The CG was amazing. In all, this was the best movie of the year, and probably one of the best action movies I've ever seen. I actually can say that I can't wait to see this again tomorrow as well, and who knows, maybe again after that.
To those who have seen it, is the story centered more around the humans or the Transformers? Please share without spoiling it. I took my nieces to watch Ratatoullie yesterday (good movie by the way) and people were lined up for Transformers at all the showings at the time. I'm so pumped up to see this. Autobots...transform!!!
The movie is really centered around both humans and Autobots. It does actually take some time and develop relationships between the Autobots and the two main characters of the movie. The Decepticons however, don't really get developed much. They're there just to blow crap up. You never really see much of a personality developed for any of them, but I think that's to be expected.
Saw it last night. Thought it would suck. Boy, was I wrong. It was amazing. Megan Fox is hott as hell!
i thought Megan Fox was DAAAMMMMN. i just hope those stories about her aren't true. anyways, Transformers was awesome, i was just kinda pissed that the Decepticons weren't revealed as much. And Megatron wasn't as destructive as he was in the comics. He's only the most awesome character in the comics...anyone else notice how much bigger he is from everyone else?

I watched this again with my fam last night. This isn't really a spoiler. But there is this part that Prime tells the guys in a suit to get out of the car. NOW!!! Lol some ppl jumped on that and MegaTrons voice. And I thought the cop car decepticon (don't know his name) askin Witwickey if he was ladiesman217 was pretty damn funny.
I liked the movie but I didn't think it was as great as some of yall are making it out to believe....maybe its because I've never followed Transformers at all.
My two nieces (8 and 9 years old) reallllyy want to see this movie with me. I've told em that they may get scared, big robots blasting eachother...blah blah. It's not the destruction I'm worried about, it's more about the...other kind of humor. Do you guys think it's ok to take them to watch it with me?
That was probably the best movie I've seen in a while. What's his name the guy who played Even Stevens actually was a good actor (unlike in Disturbia) and everyone did good acting. I forgot that Anthony Anderson was in the movie LOL he was hilarious. The movie showed the relationships with BumbleBee and the main character as well as the "couple" together. Also, the AutoBots basically had their own storyline. I liked the part when the AutoBots were trying to hide and kept breaking all the stuff in Even Stevens' yard. Also, hearing a small robot say O **** is priceless.........
