<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">With Andrew Bynum showing up daily to work out, impressing skeptics among the Lakers, they're now considering the possibility that their best move may be no move.

I don't care if Bryant does a feature-length movie in which he curses Bynum's name and offers to carry him piggyback to New Jersey to get Kidd. It's not impossible to imagine Bynum at 14 points and nine rebounds and the Lakers at, say, 48 wins.

That might not do it, but if Bryant leaves ? which is the way to bet in any case ? they'll at least have a young 7-footer.</div>

They also mentioned on the local radio Bynum has really focused on improving his stamina with heavy cardio workouts.

I don't think anyone's ever questioned Bynum's physical tools, but he needs to work on his mental approach. If he can use the criticism to motivate himself and find the competitive fire he could turnout to be something for the franchise.

Summer leagues are coming up, and I would expect the coaches to force feed him in the games and get him used to taking over 10 shots a game.

Mark it down July 11th on your calendars. Greg Oden and Andrew Bynum will go head to head in Las Vegas in a summer league game matchup.

I've got to see that game.

It's good to hear that he is working out hard, hopefully, we will get rid of Kobe soon and replace him with some youngsters to develop alongside Bynum.

Well, seeing how the management is so high on Andrew Bynum, he'd better show us something good next season. I'm happy to read about his progress though. Can anyone give me some info about his skyhook? Him and KAJ have been working on it, and I would like to see it a couple of times this season, or maybe at least in the summer leagues and preseason

I don't think the TV schedules for the summer leagues haven't been announced yet. I'm not sure if KCAL has a contract to show the Laker pre-season games, they usually don't.

NBA League pass usually broadcasts the games.

Correction: The game will be LIVE on the NBA.com Webcast.

Here's a complete schedule for all the games. Every single Summer League Game is available this year.

Wow, after all this what if Bynum accutually becomes a some type of force like Kobe did in his 3rd year. It would be Kobe and Shaq all over again, but Kobe being in Shaq's position and Bynum being in Kobe's.

I agree 110% about the mentality aspect.

I remember reading an article a couple of years ago how Kwame Brown was impressing the Laker coaches during practice, and even got Lamar Odom saying he's a rebounding machine, possibly better than KG. But alas, it was just practice, and Kwame is still small-hands-don't-know-what-to-do-with-the ball Kwame.

I think a ticket gets you a seat for the entire day. In relation to what I paid for the Long Beach Summer League tickets, $75.00 is a ripoff. [IMG] Long Beach only cost $10.00.

It's a good time though, it's your best chance to interact with the players if that's something you're into. The quality of basketball is lousy to be honest and it's really unpredictable how long a person you came to watch is going to play for.

If you want to talk to players, get autographs, then go for it. If you are going to watch games, save your money and just watch it at home.

I think it depends on your cable provider. If you have league pass now you won't have to pay anything extra.

Actually, if you're referring to this particular game, it should be on the NBA.com website for free.

Btw... any chance Bynum actually plays for the SPL, since it's usually for 1st and 2nd year players?

    I hope he does.

I'm pretty sure he'll play. They haven't officially announced the Lakers roster, but the organization was calling last season "technically his rookie year" so this summer is "technically his second year." [IMG]
