That would mean the Wizards, of course, because they hold Navarro's NBA rights. Don't have details on the money stuff yet and have no idea what Ernie's plan is but I'll find out more and update later.</div>

I like the idea of using him as trade bait, I like the player, but I don't know if he's exactly the best fit for the Wizards. I've heard something about the Grizzlies who have Gasol and he would like to play with him. They're under the cap too, so the Wizards can do something like giving them Navarro and Etan for Warrick or something crazy like that.

I wouldn't be mad getting him though, he can play a Juan Dixon like role on this team. Looking at all that's happening, it's like the Wizards have added 5 first round picks:
Young, Navarro, Blatche, Pecherov and McGuire are all guys that would go in the first round in a normal draft.

If we're unable to resign Deshawn Stevenson, then we can't go wrong with keeping Navarro here. We've had rights to him for about 5 years, and he's a franchise player over in Barcelona, so he's gotta be pro ready here.

I wouldn't want Navarro to get in the way of Nick Young's development if we decide to resign Deshawn. I wouldn't mind trading him off and filling in a need at the center position. It just depends on the situation, hopefully Ernie makes the right ones.

I'm a Real Madrid fan (the enemy team of Barcelona, the team of procedence of Navarro). We won this year the final matches vs Barcelona, and Navarro is incredible. He plays easy. He has a great shot in all the positions, and a great ball movement. A great SG. I have no doubt he's the better no-NBA player around the world (including all draft players). You can see his stats in the last FIBA World Cup or in Olympic games. If u don't need him, u can get a great trade for him.
    sorry for my english.

He's a great, young player. Keep him, even as a backup.

We are hearing in Europe Iavaroni wants Navarro for repeating the couple who won Gold Medal, Spanish League and other competitions (With Pau Gasol). Grizzlies need a SG with offensive skills, and he's a good option. I don't know if this is a true rumour or isn't it.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">According to team and league sources, a handful of teams have contacted the Washington Wizards with possible trade proposals for guard Juan Carlos Navarro, who recently negotiated a way out of his contract with FC Barcelona of the Spanish Pro League.

One of the top players in Europe, Navarro averaged 17.3 points last season and his style of play has been compared to that of San Antonio Spurs star Manu Ginobili. According to one league source, the Miami Heat has long been interested in Navarro and would consider a sign-and-trade deal involving free agent forward James Posey, an excellent defender who averaged 7.7 points and 5.0 rebounds last season.

Miami recently lost one free agent when shooting guard Jason Kapono signed a four-year, $24 million contract with the Toronto Raptors and may view Navarro as a possible replacement. The Memphis Grizzlies may also be interested in acquiring Navarro, who played on Spain's national team with Grizzlies center Pau Gasol.</div>

I'm all in for trading Navarro, if we get a nice, young reliable backup center in return. That's only of course if we keep Deshawn Stevenson because there really was no point of signing him in the first place, now that he fits in well with the Wizards starting lineup, already built up a high amount of chemistry with them, and a fan favorite of DC.

I'm all for trading Navarro, but not for James Posey
