I'm guessing he would be a replacement for RJ if he gets traded? Because otherwise, I don't see why the Nets would be even looking at him. We have enough backup SG/SF: Boki, Hassan and Antoine are more than enough. Plus, Hassan and Antoine need minutes in order to develop and improve, so bringing in an aging dude who plays the same position at them wouldn't exactly help.
Seems to be a chain reaction signing. RJ gets traded, Posey gets signed. I would start him over Wright and Hassan, both are too risky to get starting minutes. And Nachbar brings that energy off the bench, which we need.
You guys would score big time if you got Pos. He's a hustle player who gets the job done on D. Sad to see him leave Miami but at least he might play with my other fav. player.
Posey may have a small attitude problem, but I love his game. He brings such a savy defensive game to the table that could really help NJ.
Hassan is going to be released. It was on the score, that sorces say that he will be released, so why not Posey.
There's no point in getting Posey unless RJ is leaving because he wants at least the MLE or over, and they already have RJ and Nachbar at SF, and Vince at SG.
