The Spurs reached agreement Tuesday with forward Matt Bonner, the last of the three free agents they hoped to re-sign, on a three-year contract worth about $9 million.

"Matt always wanted to stay with the Spurs, so he's very excited to be coming back," said Kenny Grant, Bonner's agent. </div>

I'm pretty mellow about this signing. Spurs are in need of a big man to help bad. Oberto and Duncan are starters, Elson is just so soft and has been on the block a while now. I know SA resigned for inside-out post presence, like the days of Ferry, and now Horry (who probably is history), Bonner will be used to clear the lane for Duncan and a kickout three. That's the idea anyways.
