"The biggest thing I can say is for me years are more important than amount per year. You want to be as guaranteed as possible to know that you have a job the next year. Would be a terrific assition. Really knows the game is very unselfish, runs a team and distributes. If we can get him, it would be great I think. Of course, signing Steve Blake is still a high priority, but Brevin would be very very serviceable!!!
I actually think it would hamper the performance of the Nuggets. Sure he's a great floor general and passer, but what happens when they double Melo or AI, leaving Knight wide open for the jumpshop? I think the Nuggets would be better off keeping Steve Blake if possible. Younger and a better shooter.
Knight would be a pretty good pickup. He can get players on this team the ball like Blake did, and hes also probably quicker and a better defender. Blake did have a good shot, but he wasn't athletic at all or a very good defender. I just hope we get a guy that can play big minutes at the pg, so Iverson can play shooting gaurd for most of the game. George Karl needs to figure out how he can get Iverson in better position to score, not just give him the ball and let him go 1 on 1. They need to run him off screens and get him the ball in scoring positions like Eric Snow did in philly.
