Yeah Azubuike and Marco are putting up some nice games. They can be strong replacements for Barnes and Pietrus perhaps.

Dude Bellinelli is on FIRE right now from three -- fast break pull up from three -- then a rediculous three from way behind the line -- he's putting on a show for the crowd -- now a steal and a dunk!!!

Agh POB is completely reactive and is being invisible in the paint defensively and just let the opposing player walk in and steal a pass to him, granted it was a weak pass, but still. God he just let someone shoot a 10 footer and he dropped a pass that should have ended in two points. Get your head in the game.

Yeah -- POB is looking a little listless out there. Sometimes I wonder if he even wants to be a pro ball player, or if like his parents just forced him to play so they could cash in some bank off it?

Yeah I kind of got a similar feeling AlleyOop. The thing that is ticking me off is not necessarly just POB, as it is the whole team defense. There is no one picking up the penetrator in the paint, be it Powell or POB. The two players who were on the team last year don't want to help their teammates out today. The remaining Warrior member Azubuike looks good though.

Yeah -- that's the one kinda weird thing about summer league -- it's like an audition -- it's like Hell's Kitchen -- yeah you want your team to win, but there's also an element where you don't want your counterpart at your position to do better than you, yeah? I hope it's not like that, but I mean this is a once in a lifetime opportunity -- alot of these players NEED to do everything to shine and perhaps get a ticket to their dreams. If that means trying to score as much as you can regardless of the team needs, so be it.

Guys like Marco and POB, though, they already have their contract, so that shouldn't be a problem. Guys like Az and Powell need to show the coaches they are improving on their weaknesses from last year. But POB, he just needs to show a pulse, dammit!

I am waiting for Lasme now. Obviously neither team is concerned with defense as it is 82-79 to with 3 seconds left in the 3rd.

    Nice drive by Kelenna Azubuike.

Dang, Josh Powell would have fouled out if they were playing real rules. So this means POB comes back in.

Did you see that putback attempt by Brandan Wright? Damn. Nice moves by Belinelli btw.

I like how Patrick O' Bryant destroyed Jackson Vroman in the post. LOL.

Wait is Brandon Wright even playing?? Must be some other guy then... Probably POB.

    Belinelli and1 deep deep two.

By the way, Marco is going to lead rookies in scoring. OK well he'll have tough competition this year. But he'll be up there. If he could get the open looks like he very well should get playing with Baron, Monta, Harrington, and Jackson. If JRich was on the team, he'd probably get even more open looks.

Pierre Pierce looks fine today as well.

But also I think the summerleague/team is more than just these games. Keith Smart was talking about how the summerleague players are expected to push the contract players in practice. It sounded like if you could push the player in practice right now, then you are more likely to get a spot on the preseason camps and such. I assume that is what must have happened with Matt Barnes last year since he didn't really have the best summer or preseason games. Perhaps there would be some individual urge to show off on offense but on defense I'd think you'd want to show some help D.

Brandan Wright hasn't entered the game. He is DNP. He has a lingering injury and he may be sitting out the entire summer league. I think that was C. Powell (not Josh Powell), #34.
