I give a top 5 for each position except for DE and WR for which I give a top 10. I feel like those two positions are the deepest of this draft class. CB is also fairly deep, but not as much as DE and WR. I could've done a top 15 for DE, but I figured top 10 was enough. They're also the only two positions in which I can see more than 5 players being drafted in the 1st round. At this point, I'm keeping Michael Bush rated as the #2 RB for next year's draft. I think he very well could end up being at that spot. However, I also think he could easily be jumped by Irons, Lynch, and Darby. I don't expect him to take a medical redshirt either. I think he comes out and takes his chances. He would've been a 2nd round pick this past draft with an opportunity to work himself into the 1st round. I would've liked him better than Lendale White and Joseph Addai that's for sure. I think the injury makes him think the NFL is a better option instead of risking more injury and not getting the money he could get now. All underclassmen are marked with a *. Sidney Rice is the only RS Soph. that I could see coming out early at this point. I will update this as the season goes along, actually this is really the 2nd edition of my rankings. Anyway, without any further ado... All comments and discussion is definitely welcome...don't like something I did...then try and change my mind. Quarterback 1. Brady Quinn, Notre Dame 2. for running backs where's Slaton from WVU and Hart from Michigan i think they should be atleast barely missing the cut. Also Kenneth Darby in top 5?? Come on hes not that good. I would rather have Hunt from PSU at 5 instead.

Mike Hart is a Jr., but I want to see how he holds up through a full season before I sign off on him as a draft candidate this season. He was injured last year so durability has to be a concern at this time. If he has a big year, then I will definitely add him. Darby is a very good back. He's had two consecutive 1,000 yard seasons despite splitting time at RB. He averaged over 5 yards a carry last season and caught 30 balls out of the backfield as well. Now I am a little alarmed at his lack of production in week 1 against Hawaii, but 1 week shouldn't decide the fate of a draft prospect. I like Tony Hunt too and he's right there with Darby. He's yet to carry the ball over 200 times in a season though, which will hopefully change this year since Michael Robinson is gone. He averaged 6 yards a carry last season though and could easily move into my top 5 especially given his size. I just want to see Penn St. give him the ball more than 20 times in a game first. That's only happened 6 times in the past 2 years.
great rankings IMO... I dont think Drew Stanton will be a 1st round pick now since he has been struggling lately tho

The fact is that NFL teams are nuts about his size, athleticism and mechanics. I think he's falling a little bit, but not completely out of the 1st round. His comp % is still good, but he's just not getting completions for any type of yardage.
2 things from what I saw quickly. 1. I know you love Jarrett and like him more than Johnson but come combine and come workouts Johnson is going to probably blow Jarrett away. You saw what it did for Vernon Davis and Johnson will probably put up similar numbers that Davis did in the running drills. Look no farther than the play against VT. At his size to break away like he did. That's very unheard of. 2. Charles Johnson in my opinion if he enters will be one of the first DE's off the board. I actually like him better than Adams right now. It's a tough call but I think he could go top 15. Watch more of him and I think you'll see what I see. He also has the size and of course good attributes and that's what makes pro scouts drool.

Charles Johnson is also higher. I'll finish revamping my list in the next two days after I gather all the sack numbers from this weekend since I have to do it myself because for some god awful reason the NCAA doesn't keep official sack statistics.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TP-33)</div><div class='quotemain'>I think, injured or not, Kenny Irons is a better player and prospect than Bush..</div> Michael Bush could possibly be the top RB prospect next year had it not been for his injury. I like Kenny Irons a lot, but he doesn't match up with Bush's combo of speed and size. He's everything that LenDale White should've been. However, Irons passes Bush up because of the injury. BTW....consider adding up Frank Gore's fumbles in you sig too....It's going to be a significant amount.
Looks pretty good to me, and I agree with Porky on the Johnson thing. More like a question though: Griffin that low? Everything I've heard has him directly competing with Landry for the top spot, and I'm not a big Zbikowski fan either

Griffin is not having that good of a year. I've dropped him from the top 5 in all honesty. He's probably 6th or 7th on my list right now. I'm honestly not a UT fan, but so many of their games are on tv here in Texas...imagine that huh? Griffin has not impressed me. He struggled especially against Ohio St. I really don't judge the other games Texas has played though because the competition they have been playing against...rather the lack there of....adds up to nothing. Big test for him this weekend though. I think OU's passing attack has been a little overlooked right now. Thompson has not been terrible and he has a very good receiver in Soph. Malcolm Kelly who is averaging over 22 yards a catch which is good enough for 4th in the nation among receivers with at least 15 receptions. The biggest role Griffin might have to play and prove himself at this week though is run support against Adrian Peterson.
