Well this signing is useless unless you bring KG or J.O'neal.Not making a move for Garnett may be worse than overpaying. The West is strong and getting even stronger. It will take more than just Bryant and Garnett, but like the Shaquille O’Neal-Kobe Bryant days, role players and chemistry guys will get onboard for the opportunity to win

<div class="quote_poster">K8BE24 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Fisher looks fluid in the triangle offense. He's too old to be playing up Warriors' style of play and isn't effective in the pick and roll with Utah. He's a guy who feeds off from the post. I'm guessing the Lakers are just playing the wait game with Indiana and they might pull the trigger on the Bynum, Odom for O'neal deal. Which would be pretty darn stupid unless Granger and some fillers come in the package.</div> While I can't speak to his time with the Jazz, except for his terrible statistics, his time with the Warriors was under Mike Montgomery, who strove to run a college style motion offense. The team at that time wasn't remarkably athletic on the whole, and with Fisher at age 31 or so, he shouldn't have had any additional trouble fitting in.
they signed him..big whoop..they shouldve gone after francis harder or made some trades..fishers a good role player but the lakers need alot more than that rite now. i'm sure bryant cant wait for next season now.
