There wasn't anything to think about, Kwame Brown was a beast in high school. He could score from anywhere on the court--paint, midrange, and three. The Wizards started his career off horribly, and everything was downhill from there.
Jordan also traded away Rip Hamilton, and given his desire to, well, be the 2 guard for the Wizards, it's unlikely to me that he'd draft Richardson, who was young and athletic enough coming out of college to treaten that position.

His rookie season Michael Jordan shattered his confidence. 2. Injuries hampered his development and Kwame became an alcoholic because he couldn't handle the pressure. 3. Didn't have the support of his teammates or head coach when he was finally traded to the Lakers. Again, this hurt his confidence and trust with his NBA peers. Currently Kwame is still an alcoholic and has a poor work ethic. He can't perform under pressure because he's mentally frail.
