    according to ESPN NEWS:
    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Arbitrator dismisses Branch's grievance

Updating a previous report, ESPNews reports New England Patriots WR Deion Branch has had his grievance against the team revoked. The grievance, which was filed on Branch's behalf by the NFL Players Association, was dismissed by an arbitrator. Final word on Branch's situation will come from the special master Thursday, Sept. 14.</div>
Now hopefully Deion will come to his senses & fire his incompetent agent. I'm not holding my breathe however.

Its very common for players, especially WRs, to think they are more valuable than they are and this is the case here....but, unlike most of the guys in that situation, Branch has proof that hes worth more than the Patriots are willing to pay him, so hes got some leverage that most of those guys dont have....the Patriots could have him at practice this afternoon, without giving him another dollar, he just wants to know they wont franchise him....guarantee him that, and im sure he will show up....otherwise, this might linger until week10....

the franchise tag is to huge of a bargaining chip to just throw away. he's not a top 10 WR yet.

The signing of Doug Gabriel takes away some of Branch's leverage as well. Once the $14,000 a day fines start piling up, he'll be on the field.

I believe the 14K is only affective during the preseason. He stands to lose game day check from here on out.

    Here's more from ESPN.

Its unlikely he will ever pay those fines....in the end, they are always excused as part of the settlement....
