<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1. Randy Foye, Minnesota Timberwolves ? Foye was much more assertive on Wednesday night, looking for his shot and making some nice drives in finishing with 22 points in a 79-68 victory over San Antonio. He was 3-for-5 on three-pointers and made some tough floaters. Foye, the seventh overall pick in last year's draft, needs to play this aggressively in order to fully realize his potential.

    2. Craig Smith, Minnesota Timberwolves ? Smith has improved drastically in just one year. He still is strong and aggressive, but he has added a nice midrange jumper to his game. As evidenced by his 21 points against the Spurs, Smith will be a solid contributor next season for Minnesota. </div>

Good to see Smith is improving his offensive game. Also good to see Foye isn't hitting any road blocks in his development. I could really see these two being a great combo in 3-4 years. Too bad KG probably can't wait that long...

I think Mchale wants him at the point, but i would prefer him to be the starting sg, then slide over to point. So basically mostly sg, but still play a good amount of pg.

I'm watching us playing Memphis right now and we are looking really good. Mccants shot is finally on and Foye is on fire and really passing well. Brewer looks really good too. He is rebounding like a mad man so that is great. He is averaging 9 bpg in summer league. I know it's only summer league but these guys are meshing really well right now.

Randy Foye is a beast! So is Brewer. Man, the T-Wovles are gonna be fun to watch this year.

That's good to hear. I really want the Wolves to put together a competitive team. They have a great nucleus and depending on what happens with KG, they could be a force in a few years time. Nice line up would be:
    PG - Foye
    SG - McCants
    SF - Ricky Davis
    PF - Craig Smith
    C - KG
Not too bad, especially with Brewer off the bench.

^^Yup, you add a healthy Hudson, Hassell, and Brewer off the bench our guard and sf spots look pretty solid. Brewer is a much better passer than i realized. We are gonna be really fun to watch this year. I see us fast breaking a ton and if we play KG at the 5 i don't see anyone besides phoenix and maybe orlando being able to run with us. If we can add another big along with blount i actually see this team making the playoffs

Damn!! Great games by Foye and Smith and Brewer was equally impressive. If that is what we can expect from this trio then KG may want to hang around!!!
100 + points!!! When was the last time the TWolves did that!!!

Side note: Rudy Gay and Conley had decent games too (although Conley could improve his shooting).

Yeah it was a really fun game to watch. I never knew brewer was such a good passer! He made so many unselfish plays with some really impressive passes. I think he is going to be ready to step in right away for us.

Brewer is like a Josh Howard or Brandon Roy. He does everything good, but nothing really great. That's why I think he will stick and find a home in Minnesota. He definitely needs to work on his shot. He shot what 3 for his last 22, but the great part about him is he doesn't have to score to make an impact on the game. He'll get his fair share of steals, he'll play good defense, he can hit the open shot, and he's a very good passer. Twolves got themselves a good player.

That's what's so great about all 3 of the Gators drafted high, they do so many things so well that can help impact a game without scoring.

Looks like another great game for the wolves. Mccants scored 32 points, Smith added 21 points. Brewer filled up the stat sheet again with 5 points, 7 assists, and 10 rebounds. I really hope these guys are gonna play this well in the regular season. O, and we won again to improve to 4-1
