Radmanovic was an obvious disappointment for us last season. When we signed him with our MLE, we were expecting a dangerous sharp-shooter, who would be a dangerous weapon in our offense along with Kobe and Lamar. Now, obviously things have not turned out the way it was ?supposed? to. Radmanovic injured his hand before the season, and as a result, his shot was completely off. But he refused to have surgery, instead, opting to play with the injury. The rest was history. Radmanovic struggled from the field, struggled to hit his shots, and was considered another MLE bust. Not to mention his infamous snowboarding incident that ended his season.

Now, put all your thoughts and feelings of Radmanovic aside. He is a good player, believe it or not, and he is a dangerous shooter. Coming into next season, Radmanovic will play with a chip on his shoulder, and hopefully turn out to be the player we all expected him to be. Here are just a couple of Radmanovic highlights I got off of Youtube. Hopefully a healthy Radmanovic can give us some of this:

The thing with Radman is his consistency. He'll have his moments and have some highlight reel dunks and stretches where he shoots like a madman. Radman just doesn't have the focus. If he focuses on his game, the guy can play.

I hope his surgery goes well, I do think he can be a spark off the bench.

Oh please, those same videos were posted after we signed him last year, and I don't expect him to perform much better this year. Those videos just remind me of what an idiot Mitch must be (I'm sure he watched similar videos before he went after Kwame).

If he had a torn tendon in his hand, and he was signed for his deadly range, how could that not have impacted his season?

I think people just don't like his goofy hair and such and hate on the guy too much. If he sucks next year I'll concur with the Haters but until then I want to see if he can play the way he did for LAC at least.

Sure, and Kwame is a young talented big man that was abused in Washington and will emerge as a great NBA center in LA, and D Fish will provide the leadership missing as well as his great defense and I promise I won't <font color=""red"">*******</font> [IMG]

Like huevonkiller said, Radmanovic's play was largely effected by his injury. You can't expect a shooter to contribute with an injured hand

Radman is playing for five million a year, he's not supposed to be a star, just what he already has proven he can be in Seattle/LAC.

What didn't you get about spark off the bench?

His mental weakness was radiating from him last season, torn tendon or not. Just look at any game.

People exaggerate negative intangibles all the time, look up that.

I'll give him one more year with a healthy hand, then condemn him.

I'm really hoping Radman is better this upcoming season. He was playing all last season with an injury to his hand, and assuming he gets the surgery done (if he hasn't already), he should be better. I think if he's healthy, he really could be a huge spark off of our bench, or maybe even end up a starter. He's got the ability to light it up on any given night and be a solid scorer consistently. It's just a matter of him finding a rhythm early in the season and maintaining confidence, and also how he responds after the worst season of his career. Regardless, if he's healthy, he could be a hell of a weapon for us.

Sacaremnto countered an offer that would have brought in Vladamir Radmonvic, and Jordan Farmar for Ron Artest. Kings would however accept Kwame's expiring contract, Jordan Farmar, and 2008 1st round pick. The Lakers don't want to deal Kwame away mainly because Mihm is flirting with other teams.

Those aren't last seasons trade rumors. Better yet this thread is afterall about Radmanovic so it wouldn't make sense creating a new thread about what could have been.

Do you mind citing your sources at least? Because anyone can come onto JBB saying they have sources about this trade or that trade. If you don't have anything to back up your claims, then you might as well just not post. I'm not saying I don't believe in you, but I've seen on other websites where 50 so called "insiders" pop up saying they have info on this and that, and most of their info just leads up to false hope because they were just BS to begin with

Btw, I'm not trying to attack you or anything, I just don't want JBB to turn into those type of websites
