Where does Julian Wright fit in all of this? The Hornets are pretty much set: PG - Chris Paul SG - Mo Pete SF - Peja PF - David West C - Tyson Chandler

The Hornets were always in pursuit of a SG. Drafting Nick Young would of made more sense with Peja being stuck with the team for 4 more years, but they seem to value Wright's talent and versatility more.
I've always thought of Peterson as more of a swingman, but I don't think he'll have any problems adjusting as a starting 2-guard (he basically alternated between the two all year). I hope he does wel in New Orleans and wish him nothing but the best.

Byronn Scott said if Cedric (he's injured) and Armstrong don't dominate summer league, he won't be so willing to give them minutes, so we'll see. They probably need another PG in case of injury because Jackson is injury prone, and they'll probably look into another big man, a more experienced guy. Some NOH fans also said Scott isn't very partial to rookies, but a lot of coaches aren't partial to rookies unless they're sick (eg: on the Hornets, Chris Paul ). <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I've always thought of Peterson as more of a swingman, but I don't think he'll have any problems adjusting as a starting 2-guard (he basically alternated between the two all year). A very big upgrade Peterson>>>>>Mason. Peterson has way less turnovers, a more consistent player, both offensively and especially defensively, so I think that the Hornets finally got that good SG they needed. I think Mo will average 12/3/5 with a couple of turnovers.
Mo will be good for them, I don't know about the 5 APG though, he's not even close to being that kind of passer, he's more of a 2-2.5 APG range passer. He should give them about 12-14 PPG like you said (with 12), 4 RPG, and 2 APG, but the important things will be abour 38%+ 3PT, and the average-above average defense he brings, though he's probably a better SF than SG defender.
The Hornets success next season is all contingent upon staying healthy. They have built a solid roster around Chris Paul and placed some great scorers around him. However, it seems like the past two seasons the Hornets just haven't been able to keep these players on the court. If this team stays healthy, they will make the playoffs.
