No way...I rather they waive Wright instead. Edit: What about getting rid of Bernard Robinson? He is still on our books right?

Adams is the better player, and to me, has a better future. Why did we draft him, if planned on just waiving him off later on? I know the management wasn't expecting him to be a 20 point scorer his first year. Btw, I remember hearing Ratner say he would pay the luxury tax though.
Wow, this is strange. First the Grizzlies waive a great prospect in Alexander Johnson, now the Nets waive Hassan Adams? Shocking
It's official. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">In a bid to save money on the NBA luxury tax, the Nets waived Hassan Adams Saturday. As first reported by The Record, Adams' salary ($687,500) would have become guaranteed Sunday. A NetsDaily analysis of the team's payroll shows the Nets were $404,000 above the luxury tax threshold before losing Adams' salary. The Nets are still expected to sign a backup point guard. The move comes as a surprise. The popular Arizona product was featured on the team website this week.</div> Source
