<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Las Vegas, July 14, 2007 -- With Lebron James sitting courtside, Kevin Durant had his best performance of the NBA Summer League. It wasn?t enough though as the Golden State Warriors edged the Seattle Sonics 85-74 on Friday evening.

Golden State held an 80-72 advantage with under two minutes remaining. Then Durant hit a jumper with 1:11 left to cut the advantage to six, but Seattle wasn?t able to score the rest of the way.

Durant returned to the lineup after missing the previous game while he was taping the ESPY?s in Los Angeles. He ended the evening with a game-high 32 points despite shooting just 39.1 percent from the floor (9-23 FG), grabbed three rebounds and had four steals in 35 minutes.

?Every game I?m trying to play harder on defense,? Durant said. ?I think tonight I did O.K.?</div>

I wouldn't say "shines" when you only shoot 9 for 23. Impressive point total though. When he gets more comfortable in the flow of the NBA game and with the team, his shooting percentage should increase and he should take less shots to score 30. So, "Durant shows promise in loss to Warriors" would be a better title for the article!!!
