Both were released by their respective teams this week, Hassan Adams from New Jersey, and Alexander Johnson from Memphis. Why they were released, I have no idea, it was probably just a move to save luxary tax. But anyways, I remember these two players being mentioned in our draft threads. I remember someone wanted us to draft Alexander Johnson over Jordan Farmar in the 2006 NBA Draft. Adams, I believe, was mentioned with our second round pick. Both are extremely athletic, and can bring some athleticism to our squad. Adams is a small foward, but a bit of a tweener. Johnson is a powerforward. I'm pretty sure both would accept the 1 million remaining from our MLE. It's a low risk high reward type of move
I like Hassan Adams. He is a great guy that will come off the bench and give your team lots of energy and some points and rebounds here and there. I think he would be a nice fit for the Lakers.
I'd love to sign Johnson. He could be like a Paul Millsap for us. Banger inside the paint and get us some rebounds.
