Posey doesn't interest me that much right now. 2-3 years ago, I'd say go for it. But Posey is going to be 31 this season. He's kind of a punk (judging how he has acted against Ellis and Gordon in the past). Posey wouldn't be a bad pick up for a cheap price and very few years. More than that, then I am looking more at the other options of Pietrus and Barnes and whomever else may be available who can fill in similar spots.
Posey as an alternative to Pietrus or Barnes-at about equal $ is not way off-but I'd lean to the better future of Barnes + Pietrus. Blatche is one alternative I'd consider. Travis Outlaw was tempting.
