So this weekend ND takes a on a great team in psu. last week the irish squeked by a pretty good team in my opinion...GT, any thoughts on how the irish will fare this weekend and if this is going to be the game to watch...i personally think taht ND is going to win this one as they pull together and bounce back from last weeks game

The irish will win this one by 7 points or so the irish last week had to many penalties and dropped balls and Quinn Over threw some guys they had alot of mental mistakes and were lucky to over come that.. if it happens agian i say penn takes them but the irish is a good team they just made alot of errors

I think ND will win it barely but i really want Penn State to win. I think if they get enough pressure on Quinn theyll be able to upset the Irish.

I have been looking into this game a little bit more today and it looks like it might even be an easier game then Georgia Tech was... GT has great great weapons and i mean without the mistakes that were talked about ND wins that game by 3 touchdowns...i think with all the attention on samardjza mcknight is going to be able to open up more and will give brady quinn two great recievers and another great player in stoval especially with asap schwapp leading the way for him...its going to be tough to slow them down

I think Penn State can upset ND. Most are going to go with ND but I really do like Penn State. Derek Williams is why. I think the Penn State coaches have enough sense to give him the ball and let him exploit the ND secondary. He'll be the fastest player on the field every time he's on the field and speed kills in college football. Anthony Morelli is also coming along well and Penn State's defense is much tougher than Georgia Tech's. I think Penn State takes this in a nail biter and Derek Williams has a big game and does what Ted Gin did to ND in the Fiesta Bowl last season.

Did not expect this outcome to be completely honest but i am happy with it...the defense stepped it up and showed they are for real and i think thats just a preview of whats to come from quinn.[IMG]

I expected a lot more from PSU...especially after watching both PSU and ND play last week. I'm still stunned by how badly PSU lost.

Penn State is just to young. They really played bad. I was 1-1 today in the big games. Derrick Williams didn't get the ball enough and Tony Hunt really never got a chance to run the ball because they fell behind. Penn State hurt themselves early on with the miss field goal and fumble. ND still has Michigan next week and that should be a good game, although Michigan hasn't really been tested at all this year and didn't look that great against Vandy last week.

In years past I've always hated ND for their "mystique" & the fact that they have a national broadcast solely dedicated to them. However with Weiss now as the HC I feel compelled to root for them. He's already done an incredible job in such a short time span. They'll always be overrated just by being ND, but I think they have a realistic shot at the National Championship this year.
