Players like him, Eli Manning, Steve Francis, etc. make me sick. I can understand if he was a FA, then he'd have the right to choose. But, this kid hasn't even touched an NBA court yet, and he's already trying to get shipped out. I think he should be grateful that someone even drafted him and suck it up. Plus, going elsewhere cause of the lack of PT? I wonder if he realizes this, but no matter where he goes, he's not going to get a huge amount of PT cause of how much of a project he is. Regardless though, this is complete garbage and a huge waste of a pick right now for Milwaukee.

<div class="quote_poster">NTC Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Who cares? This is the NBA, not the Victorias Secret fashion show, your job is to play Basketball, everything else that comes after that are just the perks of the job. To put 'exposure' and 'marketing' ahead of Basketball, says to me Yi doesnt deserve to play in the NBA at all.</div> I totally agree. Of course there are players who are looking forward to the money, but I believe alot put the game first, because of their love for it. So its like I love this game and I can get paid for doing something I'm good at. Who ever is behind all of this, they are making Yi looking very stupid. Its like he's not even putting the game first, he and who ever else puppeting him are money hungry with no regard for the game itself. He really needs to be happy that he has a chance to bring more recognition to China Basketball by playing in the NBA.
I don't know how people can blame Milwaukee for choosing him. He has been highly touted for a couple of years now and Larry Harris' father knew a whole lot about him. But that's besides the point; it is Milwaukee's prerogative to select whoever they want with the pick.
I hope SA, as a fellow small market team, sympathizes with Milwaukee and sicks Bruce Bowen on his skinny ingrateful ass the first time they play.
