Great for the Nets. The could use him behind Carter. His quick release and 3pt shooting will help the Nets so much.

I'm not really following you, ice. Nets have always lacked a shooter off the bench, so having House around isn't a bad idea. He was a huge problem last season, in terms of injuries, but it happens. Is there a better free agent, when it comes to deadly shooting? I can't think of one right now, maybe because it's late over here. My point is, if he's cheap, then pick him up. It's a good move.

I hope we keep him. He is a good player to have come off the bench and give us a few points and loads of energy. I don't think his injury will effect him to the point were he wont be able to help us out in games. He will play just as good as he normally does, but possibly a little bit more slowed down.

Your right, House will be a key off the bench. What I'm saying is that Thorn hasn't done much this off season. Sure we got Magloire and a potential inside presence in Sean Williams. But really, it's not much since we lost Moore. The Nets are pretty much the same. I just don't see us getting past the second round with the same nucleus. Sure the Nets has a solid chance. But the Nets has had that "solid" chance for a while now, and where has it brought them? The Nets are over due for a major shake up. If Indiana wants Krstic and Williams for O'Neil, then give them up. No point in having the same team. Even with a healthy Krstic, the Nets won't do much more than they already have. Why? Frank is still there. Frank has 2 plays, one, give the ball to Carter. Two, if all fails (meaning play #1), Let Kidd save their asses once again. And we all know where that will lead, Kidd will be exhausted come playoff time. Like I said, same old Nets, same old results.

The thing is, just because it isn't being reported, doesn't mean that Rod Thorn is sitting behind his desk, doing nothing. I'm sure he discussed a few deals, that haven't made it to the news.

I'm surprised he was pursing Jannero Pargo though. Is he really an improvement, over House? I think not.

Or maybe it's because the move he's making isn't enought to be on the paper. The Nets are at a point that small things will no longer suffice. The Nets need something drastic to happen. I really don't want to watch a re-run of last season. And with Thorn's "movements", I think we're in for another early playoff exit.
