Im not an FSU fan, but I think they have a good shot to be playing in Arizona on January 8th.

QB Drew Weatherford is the best QB in the ACC, and is surrounded by outstanding skill players. All he has to do is cut his INTs from 18 to around 9 or 10.

RB Lorenzo Booker who was once a top high school recruit finally gets his time to shine after waiting behind Leon Washington. He has showed flashes of 1st Round ability when he has been in. Him and Antone Smith(A Frank Gore clone) are a great tandem. Florida State has dedicated their offensive gameplan to run the ball more this season.

WR Greg Carr, Decody Fagg, and Chris Davis are the best three reciver tandem in the conference if not the country.

OL Shannon Boatman is ready to become one the premier lineman in college football, and the rest of the line is athletic, and maturing nicely.

DL Andre Fluellen is the next great FSU Defensive tackle. Kendrick Stewart has Freshman All American potential, and Everette Brown will be a feared name to ACC QBs by seasons end.

LB Florida State is in the same boat as USC. Their linebackers are young but have the potential to do great things in the future. Everyone has been raving about Lawrence Timmons, while Buster Davis is going to quietly be one of the better MLBs in the country. Derek Nicholson, and Geno Hayes are 2 extremley talented Sophs. This unit won't be the best in September, but they will be the best by November.

DB Tony Carter, and J.R. Bryant are the best CB duo in the ACC, and both have bright futures. Myron Rolle was the top prospect coming out of high school, and has looked great during the spring, and summer.

    Schedule
Miami is in turmoil for this game.
Clemson has the talent to test them, but the difference will be the Home field advantage.
BC, Maryland, and Wake Forest all could scare FSU if the Noles let their guard down, but none of them has the talent to beat them otherwise.
Florida is a little overated, and might have 3 losses by thanksgiving.

National Championship - Florida State 33 LSU 27

As i say i'm not an FSU fan, but i'm just putting my view accross, wondered what everyone else thinks?

I like Clemson to get FSU this year. Reggie Merriweather is a great back and even though Miami didn't do anything to that D, Merriweather is a much better back than Charlie Jones. Gaines Adams should pressure Weatherford all day as well.

FSU I think will have to deal with Miami again for the ACC title in Jacksonville. The 2nd time around I'm not sure if they can beat them again.

Right now I still believe Ohio State or Texas, USC, West Virginia, LSU, and Florida have as good as a shot at getting to the BCS Titles as FSU does. ND has a rough schedule and I think could lose to Penn State this week. I really like Florida and Auburn as well. Auburn has Kenny Irons and he could emerge as a Heisman canidate. This season is going to be good. No one team is the favorite like in years past with OU, USC, and Texas.

If LSU played FSU in the NC game they would win. LSU is probablt the most talented team in football. But Les Miles is just a decent coach and they have to play in the SEC

FSU would go somewhere if they put the right man in at QB, Free Xavier Lee!

Yep I was saying the same thing last year and I still believe it to this day. Xaiver Lee should be starting and he would be able to move the ball for FSU. With him I think FSU could be a tough team. Without him I don't like them to do much. Drew Weatherford was a high recruit and will play a lot like Chris Rix in most situations but Xaiver Lee is a game changer and would've been everything Adrian McPherson was supposed to be.

Lee was actually going to transfer but I guess Bowden talked him out of it. I saw him on the sidelines of the FSU vs. Miami game. I'm guessing he transfers after this year and goes D-2 so he can play his Junior and Senior Red shirt years.

I still believe Chris Leak is one of the best QBs in the NCAA. This is going to be the year he becomes a star. He has good WRs but that o-line needs to gel togther. Flordia had a good recuiting class and the only real star they lost is Chad Jackson
