I don't pay attention to cancer "facts". Until doctors can tell me how people get unexplained cancers like Leukemia, i'll live my life however I want. Basically, if death wants you, it's going to get you regardless of what you do. I mean sure you can make it more likely that you won't get certain types of cancer... but there are so many things that can kill you that I personally don't think it's worth it to change my life that much.
I agree for the most part, except about not eating well. While you should enjoy the foods you like, make sure you keep away from too much sugar and artificial crap. You don't want to get diabeties because let me tell you, it isn't pretty, especially for those that have to suffer through type one diabeties. Not only is it easier to pass on through blood relatives, but you can get it regardless of your family's past based on how poorly you eat or how overweight you are. Back to cancer though I don't believe in many of the myths, but I do have check ups and am going to have another soon. For instance testicular cancer should always be checked for every few years. Same thing for those people like myself with sensitive skin, where you're more easily able to sunburn and get skin cancer. Best to find that early. I need to have a few spots checked on my neck and head to make sure I'm fine.
Yeah one of my friends has type one diabetes, he was born with it, he has to inject insulin twice a day, and carefully monitor what he eats. Some times he just has no energy to do anything, or some times he'll get real bad headaches which he'll just like pass out pretty much.
Well if your going to live unhealthy, expect unhealthy side effects such as cancer. Cancer can happen to anyone healthy or not, but making yourself more susceptible to it is your own doing. Thats how I look at it.
