    Fight For Brown?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jul 31 - The Mavericks might still be in the market for yet another big man. Or they just might feel compelled to make certain that the Suns -- having jettisoned Kurt Thomas for luxury-tax relief -- do not replace him with anybody of quality.
Either way, they could submarine the Suns' effort to sign free agent P.J. Brown. At the right price, he would make a nice replacement for Thomas.

But with Dallas out of the Kevin Garnett picture, the Mavericks might feel inclined to overpay for Brown. -- Arizona Republic</div>

I love how we always wanna make sure the Suns don't get something the Mavs don't. It's like Cuban has a grudge against them...lol

But yeah we need PJ Brown. Not just because we hate Phoenix, but because we actually need him. He'd be a great defensive addition which is something our front court could always use. Plus he's a good veteran that could mesh well and teach the youngsters a thing or two.

We might need him, but we don't want to overpay him.
